vSAN cluster alarm 'vSAN Cluster Configuration Consistency'

This article describes how to troubleshooting/fix the issue.

Issue/error:- "vSAN cluster alarm 'vSAN Cluster Configuration Consistency"

Recently we built vxrail enviorment, we are facing the error after configuration.

Workaround solution:-

> login to the vCenter as root user.

> # su root

> # service-control --stop vmware-vsan-health

> # service-control --start vmware-vsan-health

> # service-control --stop vmware-sps

> # service-control --start vmware-sps

Then login to one of the nodes(esxi host) and try to get below commands :

# esxcli vsan debug disk summary get

# esxcli vsan debug object health summary get

# esxcli vsan cluster get

Alert has been cleared automatically after restarted the vCenter services( As mentioned above)

Perform the skyline health status on cluster.

> Go to cluster and choose monitor.

> click skyline health tab and do the retest.

we will get health summary on cluster
