 To identify which drives correspond to which disks

> Login windows server via RDP or virtual machine console.

> Click Start > Run, Type compmgmt.msc and click ok.

> Click Device Manager.

> Expand Disk drives.

> Right-click a disk and click Properties.

> In vCenter Server, right-click the virtual machine and click Edit Settings.

> Click a disk, and look at SCSI (A:B) Hard Disk under Virtual Device Node. The X:Y values are:

 > A = Location ID

> B = Disk ID

> The Disk ID with the Disk ID found  to determine the disk and the corresponding drive

> Then extend the disk from vCenter and OS side.
