What is the zerto ?
Zerto Virtual Replication delivers IT resilience in a single platform for disaster recovery,
data protection and workload mobility to, from or between multiple clouds. By combining
continuous replication, automated orchestration and enterprise class scalability, the Zerto
platform dramatically simplifies IT operations and increases business agilit.
1) Download necessary files from Zerto and Placed files on server “Zerto” – ”
2) Open a Zerto support ticket to notify them of the upgrade in case there is an issue.
3) Place Zerto under maintenance (Monitoring tool)
4) Login to VC
5) Shutdown “Zerto VM”
6) Take a snapshot of “Zerto”
7) Power on “Zerto”
8) Upgrade ZVM “Zerto”
10) Validate all VPGs healthy and any bitmap syncs completely successfully
11) Remove snapshots
12) Email Zerto support to close case if an upgrade is successful.
13) Notify client upgrade is successful.
